Collection and Use of Information

Colorado Fingerprinting only collects information that is required for fingerprinting or for submission to the State and/or Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Information collected is never sold, rented or shared with an entity except for the destination agency at the time of the request for the fingerprinting or background investigation. Registration forms completed and signed at the time of fingerprinting indicate to Colorado Fingerprinting the designated agency to process the fingerprints for background investigations.

Purpose Limitation

The information gathered by Colorado Fingerprinting is for fingerprinting related and background check purposes. Colorado Fingerprinting does not process fingerprints or information in a way that is incompatible with the purposes for which it has been authorized by the individual.
